The Fiji Law Society are preparing a formal response to the Interim Prime Minister, Commodore Frank Bainimarama who attacked the conduct of lawyers and added that the public needs neutral and trustworthy lawyers at the 9th Attorney General's Conference in Sigatoka.
Society President, Isireli Fa said they are concerned about the statement by Bainimarama and will make a full response tomorrow on the matter.
Commodore Frank Bainimarama said that lawyers are paid to do their job and should provide a good service and he goes on to say, that if it was up to him, he would put them through military training to be able to do so.
