Police are following some leads in relation to the murder of an elderly Asian businesswoman who was murdered inside her gift shop yesterday in Nadi during the Bula Festival float procession.
Director CID, Waisea Vakamocea said that police are following some strong leads and a team of crime scene officers will be joining the investigations.
The victim who operated a gift shop was attacked around 2.30pm and it is believed that she was alone at the time of the incident.
Meanwhile, a post mortem is expected to be conducted later.
