The judiciary should be impartial in spite of everything going on around them.
These are the sentiments of Acting Chief Justice, Anthony Gates, speaking yesterday at the Attorney General's Conference.
Justice Gates had earlier said that without justice and magistrates there would be no access to justice and mentioned bringing changes to the justice system like having video interviews of suspects in cases to protect their human rights, he would like to see a court reporting service to help court officials and also have more funds directed to the Legal Aid Commission.
