Upgrading works at the Tamavua and Waila Treatment plant will see residents in Nausori to Suva and Lami facing low pressure and at times intermittent supplies today.

The Water Authority of Fiji said that the areas affected will include all villages within Tailevu South that are being supplied by the Raralevu Reservoir, all villages within the Rewa Delta including the district of Toga, all areas on both sides of the Kings Road from Nausori Town to Suva, Delainavesi, Lami, Veisari and Togalevu.

Supply will be restored to all the above areas from tomorrow morning.

The Water Authority is calling on people to store and use water sparingly and to save rain water for other purposes like washing vehicle and watering their garden.

The Authority is also urging its consumers not to touch WAF valves or open fire hydrants to draw water as it will affect supply to their areas.
