India is well known for its's medical expertise and facilities and the India High Commission in Fiji is trying to implement an initiative which will give the Pacific Island Countries a direct access to their services.

On the occasion of India's 62nd Republic day celebrations, India's High Commissioner to Fiji Vinod Kumar revealed to Fijivillage news that through this E-Health initiative, doctors and expertise in India will be able connect with Doctors in Fiji and Pacific Island countries and provide opinions without actually looking at the patient.
