The case of a 35 year old man charged with four counts of rape has been transferred to the High Court.
The man appeared in the Labasa Magistrate court on Friday and the case will now be called in the Labasa High court on the 24th of next month.
The man has also been remanded in custody.
The man is alleged to have raped his 16 year old daughter on various occasions last year and this year.
The alleged incident took place when the father was given the responsibility of looking after her.
