The Navosa 15s rugby team is in danger of playing in the promotion relegation this year after failing to record a win with 7th round of competition in the Digicel Cup completed yesterday.
The Vula Maimuri coached side lost to Tavua 15-14 yesterday and sits on the last position in the points table with 2 points and without a win.
They still have to travel to Ovalau, play Naitasiri away from home and will face Lautoka and Suva in their remaining fixtures which they will need to win to avoid playing against the B division champion.
After yesterday results, Suva now leads with 27 points.
Naitasiri also has 27 points but the capital city boys have a better point’s difference to claim the number 1 spot.
Nadroga with a huge 69-15 win against Tailevu yesterday remain on 3rd spot with 26 points while Rewa and Northland are on the 4th and 5th place with 25 points.
The Digicel Cup competition will continue on the 6th of May where Naitasiri will meet Suva in the top of the point’s table clash.
