More mining companies in the country will see more people getting jobs.
These are the words of Nesbitt Hazelman, the Chief Executive of Fiji Employers and Commerce Federation, who believes that the mining sector will help reduce the unemployment figure in Fiji.
Hazelman said the Federation believes that more people are filling up the vacant positions in sectors such as finance, insurance, real estate and business service sectors as the Reserve Bank of Fiji’s Economic Review for April shows an annual 3.6% increase in employment.
