12 players from the Flying Fijians team in 2007 have confirmed that they want to play in the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand in September.
Players like Graham Dewes, Sunia Koto, Ifereimi Rawaqa, Sisa Koyamaibole, Nicky Little, Seru Rabeni, Jone Qovu, Sireli Bobo, Wise Luveniyali, Gabby Lovobalavu, Wame Lewaravu and Netani Talei are already interested in playing for the Fiji colors again.
High Performance Unit manager Talemo Waqa is working closely with manager Pio Bosco Tikoisuva in trying to also secure the services of Seremaia Bai, Kameli Ratuvou and Akapusi Qera who played instrumental roles in the road to the quarterfinal in 2007.
Waqa said that all overseas based players who are coming for the trials know the expectations they have to meet to be considered.
The first trials for the Pacific Nations Cup and the Rugby World Cup in New Zealand will be held on June 3 in Suva.
