The Sports Minister has today made it clear that the Government will only release the full $3 million to the Fiji Rugby Union (FRU) for the Rugby World Cup when the FRU management is changed.
Filipe Bole said that is the main reason for only releasing $400,000 to the FRU as a part payment at this stage.
He said that the new board now has to ensure that all the conditions are met before the release of the total funds.
The Rugby World Cup kicks off on September 9th and the Fiji 15s team is expected to go into camp for preparations from July.
