Three 2-year olds and a 11-year old child suffering from heart complications will be flying out of the country for treatment in Chennai, India this Saturday.
This afternoon the Vodafone ATH Heart Foundation handed over tickets for the children and accompanying parent and briefed them the details of travel.
Since late 2006, 49 children suffering from congenital heart ailments have been sent abroad for surgery amounting to a million dollars funded by the Vodafone ATH Heart Foundation.
Accompanying the group for India will be a pediatrician from the CWM Hospital.
