The European Union delegation said it looks forward to the beginning of an inclusive public consultation process for a new constitution.
The delegation of the European Union for the Pacific said the lifting of the Public Emergency Regulation is an important step towards the reestablishment of democracy and holding of credible and transparent elections.
It said Fiji is a key country in EU relations with the Pacific and it looks forward to the presentation of further details on the process leading to credible and transparent elections in Fiji with the view of supporting this process together with other regional and international partners.
