Close to 400 applications for educational assistance have been received by the Foundation for the Education of Needy Children.
Program coordinator Ashna Shaleen said the assistance will be given in the form of stationery, text books, sandals and school levies, with applications coming from around the country.
The first school term will begin on the 24th of this month.
