There are new names in national sevens coach Gordon Tietjens notepad following the domestic competition in Queenstown.
Auckland claimed the title with a 36-24 win in the final over Otago.
Tietjens said there were some outstanding players over the two days and could easily fit into his side with some fine tuning.
He said with some coaching and realization from the players, there are players that have made him take notice.
NZ seasonal players like captain, DJ Forbes, Tomasi Cama Junior, Lote Raikabula and Tim Mickelson will be the senior players in this team.
The NZ 7s in Wellington will be held from the 3rd and 4th of February.
