Investigations continue and no further arrests have been made in relation to the remaining three cases of alleged illicit drugs.

Police spokeswoman Ana Naisoro said tests have been conducted on these parcels alleged to have contained illicit drugs and investigators are also awaiting the comprehensive results.

Meanwhile, in recent cases of illicit drugs being seized, the Fiji Revenue and Customs Authority confiscated a kava shipment after contents tested positive for cocaine.

Last month, a 39-year-old man appeared in court in relation to the discovery of a package allegedly containing illicit drugs that was found at the Nadi Airport post office.
