Five people are admitted at the Sigatoka Hospital in critical condition after they were involved in a serious accident in Semo, Sigatoka this morning.
Police say three vehicles were involved in this accident.
Meanwhile, a 60‑year‑old woman of Dugavatu, Rakiraki, died after the rental car she was travelling in veered off the road and tumbled several times in Burenitu, Ra along the Kings Road.
Police say the accident happened yesterday morning.
A 40‑year‑old woman who was also a passenger in the car is now admitted at the Lautoka Hospital in a critical condition while the 31‑year‑old driver is in Police custody as investigations continue.
The road death toll stands at 11 compared to 18 for the same period last year.
