The University of the South Pacific has now reconsidered its decision of not allowing regional and local students who owed fees to sit for exams this week.
While responding to questions by Fijivillage, Acting Vice Chancellor Professor Derrick Armstrong says all students are now allowed to sit for their exams this semester.
Armstrong says students who have not paid tuition and other fees should pay as soon as possible.
He says students results will only be released if they clear all of their debt owed to the University.
Last week, USP had sent a formal notification to all students saying that those who have not cleared their tuition fees will be given time till last Thursday to clear it in order to be allowed to sit for their exams.
USP's total current student debt stands at $18.9 million.
According to USP, this is as per their audited financial statements for six months which ended on the 30th of June this year.
