Mourinho says he wishes to remain with the team.
There were speculations about Mourinho being tired of the Old Trafford team and was considering a new contract.
Mourinho has defined these rumours as nothing but garbage.
The 54-year-old’s contract does not expire till next year.
Meanwhile, Manchester City remains at the top of the English Premier League points table with 62 points while Manchester United are in second place with 47 points.
