The Fiji Society of Saint Vincent De Paul is providing assistance for school students that are less fortunate in Fiji based on a first come first serve basis.

The Society Second Vice President Vinaina Ratuveilawa says that parents need to provide their payslip if they are working or declare any source of income as requirement purposes.

Ratuveilawa says they give out school packages which include two uniforms, a school bag and a pair of sandals for Primary and Secondary school students.

She says for Tertiary students it will depend on their area of study with a total of $250 per student.

Ratuveilawa says their assistance was boosted this year with the donation from the Saint Vincent De Paul Australia.
