A 21-year-old farmer who pleaded guilty to a count of aggravated burglary has been sentenced to four years and 10 months imprisonment by the Suva Magistrates Court.

Pita Domoni stole assorted items to the total value of $5,693.00 on 15th June 2015 in Suva.

Magistrate Asanga Bodaragama said with the increase in the number of burglaries in the country, the public are living in fear.

Domoni’s non-parole period is three years.
