WBC heavyweight champion Deontay Wilder is looking for his 40th successive win when he faces Luis Ortiz in New York this weekend.

In a podcast obtained by CBSSports.com, Wilder says he will beat Ortiz because he is a believer.

Wilder has won 39 fights and 38 of those fights have been won by knockout.

Luis Ortiz is a Cuban professional boxer who held the WBA interim heavyweight title from 2015 to 2016.

He was stripped of the title due to failing a drug test.

Ortiz has won 28 fights of which 24 are by knockout.

Deontay Wilder will face Luis Ortiz on Sunday at 3pm.
