The Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports Iowane Tiko has been suspended pending the outcome of an ongoing investigation by the Fiji Independent Commission Against Corruption.

Chairman of the Public Service Commission Vishnu Mohan has confirmed that they have passed a resolution to suspend Iowane Tiko and the suspension will take effect immediately.

He says the Commission will shortly announce who will be the acting Permanent Secretary for Youth and Sports.
