A 7-year-old boy has passed away after he was hit by a vehicle at the FNU Junction in Natabua yesterday.

Police say the Year 2 student of Saint Thomas Primary School was crossing the road when he was hit by a vehicle.

The boy was returning home from school. 

According to Police, the student died on the spot.

The road death toll currently stands at 23 compared to 19 for the same period last year.
