Fiji’s Top Para table tennis players, Mere Rodan and Iakoba Taberanibou have successfully qualified for the 2018 World Para Table Tennis Championship.
This is the first time Fiji’s top Para table tennis players have qualified for the Championship after they successfully finished the highest in their combined class.
Rodan won the 2017 International Table Tennis Federation Oceania Championship Class 5 women wheelchair singles while Taberanibou finished runner up in the class 4 and 5 mens wheelchair singles.
The 2018 World Para Table Tennis Championship will be held in Slovenia in October this year.
