Boxing greats and former heavyweight champions Lennox Lewis and Evander Holyfield believe that Tyson Fury can defeat Deontay Wilder if Sunday’s WBC championship fight goes the distance.

As several former heavyweights believe Wilder possesses the punching power to force an early victory on Sunday, Lewis and Holyfield believe the odds will tilt in Fury’s favour the longer the fight goes on.

Holyfield earlier stated that he think’s with Deontay’s power, he might be able to end it early, but if Fury can frustrate him and it goes the distance, then it could go his way.

Holyfield adds that Fury has more experience and tricks to drag the fight on.

Former undisputed heavyweight king, Lennox Lewis shared the same sentiments adding that if the fight goes the distance then it belongs to Tyson Fury.

Heavyweight Legend Mike Tyson believes Fury’s mental durability will carry him to the title.

Fury will take on Wilder in the WBC Heavyweight fight at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles this Sunday

The fight program will begin at 3pm.
