Mike Tyson two‑time heavyweight champion is betting that when the pair of unbeaten giants Tyson Fury and Deontay Wilder square off on Sunday it will be a close call but Fury will get a true fighting chance.

The eyes of the boxing world will be fixated on Los Angeles this Sunday when the unbeaten giants square off at the Staples Center in arguably the biggest heavyweight title fight in two decades.

Tyson says that although Wilder's punch is strong, nothing can compare to the mental strength Fury has shown both in and out of the ring.

Meanwhile, Anthony Joshua the unified heavyweight champion says that he need Wilder to win and that way it gives him an opportunity to fight him.

Joshua says that as a champion, Wilder will retains his belt and so 2019 will see the fight that people have been yearning for.

Fury will fight Wilder for the WBC heavyweight title.

Deontay Wilder stands to earn $US14m while Tyson Fury is expected to pocket $US10m for their WBC belt fight at the Staples Centre in Los Angeles this Sunday.

The fight program starts at 3pm Sunday.
