Kadavu man pleads guilty to cultivation of illicit drugs charge

A man from Kadavu has pleaded guilty to one count of cultivation of illicit drugs before the Suva High Court today.

It is alleged that Joeli Waqavanua cultivated 104 plants of marijuana weighing 16kg on the 14th of October last year.

Judge Justice Daniel Goundar has adjourned the case to the 11th of next month for sentencing.
