Minister for Infrastructure and Transport Jone Usamate has urged student and lecturers at USP to persevere and keep trying to better what they have achieved.
While speaking at the opening of the USP Orientation week Usamate says first year students should make the best use of their time at the University, get to know USP and the available services that will be helpful to them in their years of studies.
He says that the greatest gift anyone can give a student is the ability to think on their own.
Usamate says that all things in life comes down to the right decision students make and in USP, students have a lot of independence where they will be exposed to a new environment, a wider variety of culture and experiences.
