The Catholic Church in Sri Lanka has cancelled all Sunday Masses until further notice following the Easter Sunday bombings.

The BBC reports the Archbishop of Colombo Malcolm Ranjith said he had seen a leaked security document warning of further attacks.

He also said he had felt "betrayed" by the government's failure to act on warnings of the bombings.

Sri Lanka's prime minister has said that crucial intelligence warnings had not been passed on to him.

Ranil Wickremesinghe told the BBC he had been "out of the loop".
