Crusaders coach Scott Robertson is backing young winger Sevu Reece for an All Blacks call‑up, in the wake of his hot form in Super Rugby this year.
The 22-year-old starred in last night's 36‑10 victory over the Lions in Christchurch, scoring twice as well as assisting teammate Braydon Ennor ‑ taking his tally to six tries from four starts in 2019.

A convincing win for the hosts, their eight victory this season. Are the Crusaders on track for another Super Rugby title?

With Nehe Milner‑Skudder heading overseas, and Waisake Naholo looking far from his best this season, speculation is rife as to who will partner Rieko Ioane on the wings in the All Blacks' side this season.
Speaking after last night's win though, Robertson made it clear that Reece deserves to be in the selectors' thoughts.
Reece wasn't included in the All Blacks' 41‑man training squad earlier this month.
Meanwhile, the Highlanders thrashed the Sunwolves 52-nil.
The Chiefs take on the Hurricanes at 7.35 tonight.
