The National Disaster Management Office will deploy its response team to Kadavu and Southern Lau group once Tropical Cyclone Sarai exits the group.

NDMO Director, Vasiti Soko says the planning team is

working with other agencies to coordinate response plans from the data that was collected from the Divisional Emergency Operation Centres.

Soko says they have received some reports from Kadavu but the Initial Damage Assessments is still being carried out by their officers on the ground who are working closely with the Turaga ni Koro and Community leaders.

The Nadi Weather Office says TC Sarai is expected to exit Fiji Waters later today.

TC Sarai was located about 230KM East- south-east of Ono-I-Lau OR

350KM Southeast of Kabara earlier this morning.
