A 34-year-old Lautoka man charged with aggravated robbery will spend the next two years behind bars.
The Lautoka Magistrate Court was told that Ropate Koroicegei had grabbed and fled with a person’s purse containing $100 Fijian and $10 Australian in March last year.
The court said the offence was very serious and this sentence should be a deterrent to others.
