The Rewa River continues to rise and is nearing critical level.
DISMAC director Pajiliai Dobui confirmed that the latest water level at the Rewa River is 4.27 meters as of midday and the critical level is 4.5 meters.
He also confirmed that the Navua River has bursts its banks in certain low lying areas.
DISMAC is calling on people living close to the river banks to move to high ground.
