Fiji will now meet South Africa in the Japan Sevens plate-final after the national side defeated Argentina 21-14.
Joeli Lutumailagi grabbed a brace of tries while Nikola Matawalu scored the third try.
Fiji will meet South Africa at 6.42 tonight.
The national side earlier lost 21-24 to Samoa in the cup quarter-final.
Meanwhile, Australia has booked a Cup final spot with Samoa for the Japan Sevens after beating England by 33-12 in the cup semi-final.
The Australians displayed brilliant rugby as they ran in five tries to 2.
England was shut down by the young Australian side as Matt Turner and Dan Norton couldn’t find their way through the Aussie defense.
In the second semifinal Samoa defeated New Zealand in their sudden death match 17-12.
The Japan Sevens Cup final between Samoa and Australia will be held at 7:32pm.
