Two men who allegedly impersonated government officials in the Western Division last month appeared in the Ba Magistrates Court today where a full phase of disclosures were served to them.
Ravneel Dutt and Shiresh Chand are charged with four counts of impersonation.
The case has been adjourned to 24th May.
An investigation was conducted by police following claims by some residents of Ba that some people were allegedly gathering signatures for a proposed party to make the deadline for registration of parties.
It is alleged that the people were told that they were elections officials checking voter ID cards and then got them to sign a form.
The people allege that they did not know that they were signing up as members of a proposed party.
