A 25 year old man allegedly involved in a shopping spree using stolen Bio-security Authority cheques has been given time to arrange for a lawyer.

Nalin Navneet Singh charged with seven counts of theft, dishonestly obtaining items by deception and causing a loss appeared in the Suva Magistrates court today.

His case will be called on 2nd June.

The case is in relation to Bio security Authority cheques which were stolen on 9th July last year.

More than $17,000 worth of electrical items was recovered from his house following a police raid last month.
