The Chinese New Year Celebrations which ended yesterday signifies the close ties between Fiji and China.
Suva Community spokesperson, Dixon Seeto said the culmination of events since Christmas is to showcase the Chinese culture in Fiji so everyone can understand it well.
Dixon also stressed that the “Year of the Horse” means working hard, be obedient and achieve great things at the end of the year.
He added that they are looking forward to another good year.
The celebration also coincides with the Chinese cultural day.
