The New Zealand 7s may be over but Police are still unhappy with the number of drunken people at the Stadium last night, despite better alcohol management after day one of the tournament.
Ten people were arrested, two for assault and eight for disorder, while 110 people were thrown out of Westpac Stadium for intoxication.
According to the Wellington Police Alcohol Harm Prevention Unit, too many people were intoxicated at the stadium and they will be collating the evidence gained during the two days and will decide if further action is required.
Police plan to hold more talks with the licensee and stadium management about future Sevens tournaments.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team won the third place play-off at the New Zealand 7s after defeating England 14-7 last night.
The All Blacks 7s won their own tournament after beating South Africa 21-0 in the final.
The Vodafone Fiji 7s team has been drawn in the same pool for the Japan 7s with Samoa, France and USA.
The Japan 7s will be held on the 22nd and 23rd of next month.
