Fiji Roads Authority said its main priority is to fix the Kings road from Naiborebore village towards Korovou.
This part of the road is still closed to all traffic as the road has a severe crack following heavy rain.
FRA’s Maintenance Works Manager Dale Nicholls said this is quite a significant damage to the road.
Nicholls is requesting people and villagers to take precaution and not to cross the damaged part of the road.
