Former Southern Kings wing Siviwe Soyizwapi will make his Springbok 7s debut next weekend at the Hong Kong 7s.
The inclusion of the 24-year-old is one of four changes to the side that contested the Cup final at the Canada 7s in Vancouver earlier this month.
The other changes see the inclusion of Ryan Kankowski, Philip Snyman and Stephan Dippenaar.
South Africa is pooled with Scotland, England and Russia in Pool B.
Meanwhile, the Vodafone Fiji 7s team will be named today.
Fiji is pooled with Canada, Wales and Korea in the Hong Kong 7s which will be held next Friday to Sunday.
Springbok 7s squad: Ryan Kankowski, Philip Snyman, Tim Agaba, Kwagga Smith, Siviwe Soyizwapi, Kyle Brown, Branco du Preez, Stephan Dippenaar, Justin Geduld, Cecil Afrika, Seabelo Senatla and Ruhan Nel.
