Habitat for Humanity Fiji has been given $426,000 by the Australian government to provide water and sanitation services to 35 communities in Tailevu, Ra and Ba.
Over 13,000 people living in cyclone-affected communities will benefit from this assistance.
This assistance will allow Habitat for Humanity to work with the Water Authority of Fiji to provide emergency generators in communities where it is impossible for people to have water without electricity supply.
2,000 shelter kits will also be distributed from Tavua to Tailevu.
Habitat for Humanity will also conduct water, hygiene and sanitation training during restoration in affected areas.
