Former Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s Captain Jerry Tuwai will be playing alongside new captain Kalione Nasoko in Fiji’s first pool game in the Dubai 7s which kicks off later today.
Coach Gareth Baber has also included debutants Beniamino Vota, Apenisa Cakaubalavu and Filimoni Tuimaba in his line up.
Other players starting are Mesulame Kunavula, Sevuloni Mocenacagi, Waisea Nacuqu, Vatemo Ravouvou, Amenoni Nasilasila and Alasio Naduva.
Fiji will face France in their first pool match at 7.06 tonight and then play Scotland at 10.06 tonight.
Fiji’s last pool match will be against Kenya at 4.06am tomorrow.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 8pm tomorrow while the Cup semifinals kick off at 1.17am this Sunday.
The Cup final will start at 4.29am this Sunday.
