Beniamino Vota will be a workhorse for the Fiji Airways Men’s National 7's team in this weekend’s Dubai Sevens.
Coach Gareth Baber has described the newcomer as a player who loves to move around the field.
Baber says that Vota carries well and hard, goes forward with power and makes his tackles.
He adds that he is pleased with how the players are focusing individually and collectively about the job they have to do.
Fiji will face France in their first pool match at 7.06 tonight and then play Scotland at 10.06 tonight.
Fiji’s last pool match will be against Kenya at 4.06am tomorrow.
The Cup quarterfinals start at 8pm tomorrow while the Cup semifinals kick off at 1.17am this Sunday.
The Cup final will start at 4.29am this Sunday.
Meanwhile, the Fiji Airways Fijiana 7s team lost their two opening pool matches in the Dubai 7s and but managed to pull through with a victory this morning.
The Fijiana lost 38-7 to Canada and got hammered 29-15 once again in their second pool match against France however, they managedto get a 17-5 win against Spain in their last pool matches.
