New details have emerged in the case of a man facing charges for allegedly raping a 4-year-old girl in a pre‑school in Suva in August this year.
This is a case of digital rape.
It was heard in court today that the incident happened in the day in the school premises.
The Prosecution said in court that the accused was playing a game called twinkle, twinkle with the girl when he committed the offence.
The girl was with the handy man unsupervised.
It was also heard in court that the girl sustained injuries on her body.
This was confirmed in a medical report done on 5th September this year.
The 38 year old man is charged with one count of rape.
