A man who allegedly injured his wife with a knife has been granted bail by Suva High Court Judge Justice Daniel Goundar.
The man will return to live at home with the wife after the court has been informed that wife is fine with the husband returning home.
The state had no objections to bail.
It is alleged that the man threw a knife at the wife which caused injuries on her back.
It was heard in court that the man committed the offence after an argument.
The prosecution told the court today that the wife has undergone counselling at the Fiji Women’s Crisis Centre.
Justice Goundar has also granted a Domestic Violence Restraining Order with standard non molestation conditions.
The case will be called again in 11th February 2019.
