The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7's team will hunt for their first win in Cape Town this weekend.

Following the Dubai 7's over the weekend, Fiji were poor in defence and struggled in their attack making at least 15 tackles per match.

Losing to USA in the Cup quarterfinal’s only made it worse as it now sees Fiji in fifth place just after the first round of the series.

Head Coach Gareth Baber will now assess his vision of winning the series and work in aligning to it.

Cape Town defending champion the All Blacks have already made their point in Dubai with a strong finish to win the title.

The Fiji Airways Men’s National 7s team is pooled with England, France and Kenya in the Cape Town 7s which will be held this Saturday and Sunday.

New Zealand is pooled with South Africa, Samoa and Zimbabwe.

USA heads Pool B with Argentina, Spain and Japan.

Australia is pooled with Scotland, Canada and Wales.

New Zealand now leads the World 7s series table standings with 22 points followed by USA with 19 points, England is 3rd with 17 points while Australia sits in 4th place with 15 points.

Fiji is in 5th place with 13 points while South Africa is in 6th place with 12 points.
