Minister for Health and Medical Services Dr Ifereimi Waqainabete has visited three health centers in the Central division that include Mokani, Wainibokasi and Nausori Health center and took the opportunity to meet with medical officials on the ground and held brief discussions.

It is one of his first visitations to medical institution since elections and in his capacity as the Minister responsible for Health and Medical Services.

Waqainabete also visited the Sigatoka Health Centre to meet with heads of departments and discuss outputs and ways to improve service delivery.

He was also led on a tour of Sigatoka Hospital by Dr Amos Zibran, and briefly met patients. Dr Waqainabete also met with Sigatoka Hospital Board of Visitors trustee, Coral Kennedy.

Waqainabete was sworn into Parliament last week and he noted that he was pleased and excited to meet Health ministerial staff around the country.
