The Fiji Roads Authority is in the process of awarding contracts for 17 critical bridges in Fiji.
This has been confirmed by Prime Minister Voreqe Bainimarama while officially opening the Paipai crossing in Vakabuli Lautoka.
Bainimarama says that FRA is fully committed to replacing each and every one of Fiji’s vulnerable crossing and bridge.
Bainimarama said that when it comes to measuring real human impact, the immediate benefits to a community are rarely so clear as they are with the construction of new connections.
