Penrith Panthers enforcer Viliame Kikau left five Rabbitohs players on his trail to score one of the individual solo tries of the season.

The Panthers may have gone down 22‑18 in a thriller, but Kikau nearly turned the match in his side’s favour with a brutal display of power running in the 75th minute to give his side a late sniff.

What made the effort all the more remarkable is that Kikau beat Rabbitohs player Sam Burgess with a brutal fend.

Fox Sports reports Kikau was super for the Panthers finishing with 154 run metres from 15 runs, with eight tackle busts, three offloads and two linebreaks to go with his memorable late try.

Unfortunatley it just wasn’t enough to get his side over the line in a thrilling finish.
