The Nadi Weather Office has issued flood warnings and alerts for several areas across the country.
Flood warning
There is a flood warning for low lying areas and small streams downstream of Korovou Town and Nayavu near the Wainibuka River.
A flood warning is also in force for low-lying areas and downstream of Naqali along the Waidina River.
Flood alert
A flood alert is in force for low lying areas, small streams and areas adjacent to major rivers for the Eastern and Interior of Viti Levu.
This includes the Rewa River, Waidina River and Waimanu River.
The rainy weather being experienced in parts of the country is expected to ease from tomorrow.
It is being caused by trough of low pressure.
